First contact!

I wrote this to North Korean embassy in Sweden:

Hello!
I'm a theatre director/theatre researcher from Finland, and I'd like to know
about theatre in North Korea. Can you help me with this?
Thank you!

Project status

What has happened so far?
Not much, but here are some things that are going to happen:

1.I will contact the nearest North Korean embassy, which is in Lidingö, Sweden.
2.I will study some korean. They don't teach it in the university of Helsinki, but in their webpage they have a self-learn-kit. This much I know already: it will be hard. Korean is a so called isolate, which means it doesn't belong to any language family. (This autumn I have studied some russian, as if it wasn't hard enough...)
3.I will buy some maybe inspiring music from North Korea's official webpage: http://www.korea-dpr.com
4.I will start to think about the possible contents of my North Korean directing debut: what do I want do there?

Deus ex machina

"The phrase deus ex machina (literally "god out of a machine") describes an unexpected, artificial, or improbable character, device, or event introduced suddenly in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation or untangle a plot (e.g. an angel suddenly appearing to solve problems).
The phrase has been extended to refer to any resolution to a story that does not pay due regard to the story's internal logic and is so unlikely that it challenges suspension of disbelief, allowing the author to conclude the story with an unlikely, though more palatable, ending.
In modern terms the deus ex machina has also come to describe a being, object or event that suddenly appears and solves a seemingly insoluble difficulty, where the author has "painted the characters into a corner" that they can't easily be extricated from (e.g. the cavalry unexpectedly coming to the rescue, or James Bond using a gadget that just so happens to be perfectly suited to the needs of the situation)."
